Learn More About AFLS®
The Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS) is a skills assessment that consists of a user manual (The AFLS Guide) and six different assessment protocols. You can use one or all six assessment protocols to create the assessment that best focuses on the areas of priority for your learners. All six protocols can be used at the same time with any combination of any others. No protocol has to be mastered before using another. Using one or all of the protocols allows the user to assess between 250 and over 1900 skills.
Beyond an assessment, the AFLS is a tracking and progress monitoring program that allows assessed skills to be tracked for progress over many years.
The AFLS is used with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), physical disabilities, and even Dementia and Alzheimer’s. AFLS is the most versatile assessment platform available and offers learners a pathway to independence.
